The social web is steadily growing and is a top issue for everyone. Accordingly new services become developed and new preconditions for new applications become established. The further development will be characterized by a further integration, which is described by the term immersive web. Ubiquitous Computing is another related term. New virtual reality applications do have social networking features, too. These services offer portable applications to become integrated at blogs or other third party services. MyMiniLife is a virtual reality world and social network. The applications may become used at other services. Something similar is enabled by SceneCaster. A further service is Vivaty. Google has launched Lively, a 3d chat application that may become integrated at other pages. These applications are most suitable for multimedia representations.

Internet and Social Media Marketing

The importance and reaches of the named services easily show the importance of social media activities to internet marketing and advertising. Another trend are virtual currencies or economies, which are integrated at widgets. Users may use such currencies in games and may exchange them at reward programs. Provider of such systems are Offerpal Media, Social Cash and Super Rewards.
