Anonymized Profiles used for Targeting
adnologies introduced a new version of its adserver technology at the dmexco. Furthermore the company announced a new product called Profile Data eXchange. This platform enables targeting by anonymized user profiles across various media platforms. At the same time the Profile Data eXchange platform is a marketplace for web data, which too enables publishers the monetization of web data.
This new service, which is described as the first one in Europe, is in accordance with the observation done in the Internet Marketing Review September, where the trade of web data has been mentioned as a trend. In the update the service BrightTag has been introduced.
