Google launches new Features to improve Local Search

Google today announced a new feature to improve the indexing of pages regarding locations. The feature is an addition to the already implemented rich snippets feature, which enables to add various additional and particular information to a page to be indexed. The new feature is called Rich Snippets for Local Search and introduced within the following official blog post.
