PEW Internet has release a study on cell phone usage in USA and found that cell phones at all and smartphones have become an every day tool beyond just using the phone to make phone calls. More advanced usage patterns are to use phones to obtain information, which has been done by more than the half of phone owners and 27 % even had situations in which they missed their phone to do so. Another strong pattern is to use cell phones for entertainment, realized by 42 % of users.
