Within a short time Google again introduced an enhancement to its rich snippets format as well as a further integration of the +snippets format, the rich snippets variation to share parts of a post or snippets by the Google+ button. The new enhancement of the rich snippets format concerns apps and prices of apps, which gets the information from various online marketplaces as well as review sites.

Introducing: Application Rich Snippets

In this context the lately introduced +snippets format has to be mentioned, which enables to share parts of content by the Google+ button. Also here and by using the same format providing specific additional information is possible, which by sharing may be passed on to the Google+ social network at all and in particular. Beside a further presentation another enhancement has been announced, the integration of +snippets into Google Maps. Opposed to the general integration the integration into Google Maps does not need particular action for publishers by being another function to share already provided data.
