The header is telling the future of digital signage. This prediction is evident as nothing else seems to be more obvious than delivering outdoor media via the internet and there exist already a couple of digital signage networks.
The W3C lately dedicated an event to future concepts and fundamentals like standards named All Signs Point to the Web and the proceedings will be worked out in the Web-based Signage Business Group. Of interest in this context is the Open Digital Signage initiative, which in part is supported by the participants of the W3C event.
