The report examines the social media use by B2B and B2C marketers. A key questions is which social networks are used. Of course Facebook and Twitter are most common to B2C marketing, but surprisingly these are followed by LinkedIn before YouTube, Google+ and Pinterest as well as Instagram. In the B2B reach LinkedIn is ahead, but surprisingly as well Facebook is of the same importance to B2B marketers. These are followed by Twitter, Google+ and YouTube, Pinterest, Slideshare and Instagram.
Further topics covered in the report are the measurement of social media roi and content marketing strategies. Another interesting questions is how marketers respond to new social networks. By 48% most marketers just observe what happens and 5% eagerly embrace such opportunities and become active immediately: B2C and B2B Marketers name their most important Social Platforms.
