Live video streaming is one of the fastest growing online video segments. Live streaming is available on many platforms including the big social networks, either directly or by apps, at speical communities and by special providers directly on homepages. But despite of the popularity of live video streams the market is confusing and it is not easy to promote a live stream to reach a target group.
StreamSpread aims to serve this market. The service has just started and it might be the first of its kind. The principle is similar to affiliate networks by matching providers of live streams with website publishers. The content providers are called advertisers and may advertise their streams on the properties of publishers, who get paid to include the streams into their websites. Both parties are able to choose partners to match their particular needs, to reach the right target group or to get the right content. At the end StreamSpread provides analytics.
Currently StreamSpread supports the live streaming services Livestream, Ustream and Twitch. Further information is available by the video below and at the homepage of StreamSpread.
