The new web apps platform Dijit is offering music and video sharing widgets. Music and video content may become uploaded or choosen from a media pool. Even images and slideshows may be shared. The widgets are customizable in many ways and suitable to become shared across the web and even on mobile phones. By the latter images may become wallpapers. The widgets do enable free streaming and downloads or premium services. By the latter there is a monetization opportunity to musicians and bands.
