The search engine Cuil, often mentioned as a Google competitor by its large amount of indexed sites, has added a field with search engine results out of the realtime web to its search engine results pages. (This feature might be available in english only.)
Cuil at all is a nice search engine and the fact of the large index is making it an option for research. At the info page it is mentioned, that Cuil has indexed three times more pages than Google and even ten times more pages than Microsoft search engines. The ranking of search results happens by analysing the content opposite to linking schemes usually influencing the results at other search engines. Too, the structure of the search engine results pages is different, which by clusters do enable to narrow results easily (clusteres might be available in english only, too).
