Grogger is a new blogging platform going beyond the common blogging features. The service applies both a crowd sourcing and collaborative approach by enabling to use content provided by the community on the own blog and by enabling others to contribute directly. These blogs are called grogs here.
This all happens by making the typical administration area of a blog available to the public. Now the Grogger community or depending of the implementation the invited audience of a website or the like is able to publish content on the grog. The crowd sourcing approach may become limited, TechCrunch reports within a review, by either moderating incoming articles or by selecting autorized writers according to the reputation they received by an internal monitoring system. At the homepage the possibilities are described with no limits by Grogger itself.
