Google launched new Realtime Search Site

Google has launched a new site dedicated to its realtime search features, which seems to display only content out of the social web aka status updates. According to the blog post about the launch this is going along with a couple of new tools including local search features to fetch local news only. While visiting the new site this function has not been found and the site has not been reachable temporarily at all. What else has been recognized is a time line enabling to easily narrow a time span and the ability to access text information alone or texts and images together. The latter in the context of missing video as well as the term experiment mentioned in the internet address suggest that further features will follow. By this reason the internet address of the new site is not mentioned here, but it is available within the official blog post about the launch.
